Mexican Pottery
YES!
LOVE!
LOVE!
... LOVE!
I am a sucker for rustic earthy pottery and this is so pretty to me.
Most people are are familiar with the Talavera Pottery- and don't get me wrong- I have a love for it, too, but this - Netzi Pottery speaks to me on a whole new level.
For me, thrifting is life then add finding Mexican Pottery to that...OH YES!

I found the quail, a floral Vintage Mexico Netzi Folk Art Sandstone Pottery Partridge Bird Quail, in an antique mall I was mulling around in, while in Benbrook, Texas.
I was getting a bit discouraged because nothing was catching my eye. Then suddenly, as I was going down the very last aisle, I spotted her!
It was instant love.
I got a thrill in my stomach as I walked over to look at this little gem up close. Although they are not as vibrant and colorful as the Talavera pottery that is so popular where live, I do love the earthiness of these pieces.

Then, I was walking through a thrift shop and found the candle holder, Candle Holder Netzi Mexico Tonala Folk Art Polychrome Floral Chamberstick Pottery, my collection was growing.
I am always looking for more pieces to add to the ones I now have.

The vase, Tonal Netzi Mexican Folk Art Pottery Vase Sandstone Glazed Floral 5 1/2" Tall, I found on another trip to the same antique mall and knew my quail needed to become a set.
